1920's style

Here is a fantastic article about Baz Luhrmann’s "Great Gatsby" and how incorrect the fashions tend to be.

The article is pretty well written and looks like they've researched their facts. In his film, most of the actresses tend to have "curve-hugging" costumes. That wasn't what was going on in the '20s. It was supposed to be about freedom, so most of the clothing wasn't fitted. It went straight down.

I still love the movie and the grandeur of it. It is very much a Luhrmann film.

I haven't seen that film yet, but I'd like to. I know the costumes will probably bug me.
