"Iron Door"

Apparently there is this legend with Jessie James and Idaho and an Iron Door. Someone has just put it down in script form and we're shooting a teaser trailer for it this weekend. Meaning I needed to dig out Cowboy wear, and also 1940s children's clothing. The film does flashbacks to the cowboy stuff while focusing on the kids in the 40s.

Lets just say that the '40s are proving to be more difficult than I imagined them to be. Adult fashion isn't that hard, but they don't want the stereotypical 1940s farm/country kids; so I've been watching a lot of 1940s era movies. Trying to find the clothing on little-to-no budget is even harder. For this teaser I don't have a budget, so it is coming out of my own pocket. Not too happy about that, but if it does get the funding that they expect it to, then I will be able to apply everything that I've spent on the trailer to the budget for the summer feature film and I'll get it all back.

I'll hopefully be able to get some fun pictures of the kids once they are in costume. It is actually kind of funny how that time era is coming back into play in fashions today.
